we will always have that

that makes us empty
that makes us wonder
why did we let it go
why did it let go of us
why.

in life
we will always wonder
where are we going
where are we heading
where are we running to
the place where we want to be
where is it?
why do we not know
where is that place?
why is it half the time we are always lost
in this whole world of misery

"i want you close to me"
often we wish we could tell
that person
this deepest desire in our heart
often we imagine that
if that person gave us that slightest stare
if that person said the simplest word
it would all add up to something
and nothing
hopes.
funny how we put so much hope in something
that ultimately shatters our heart

if life were to be cursed to be simple
i wish it to still have love
because with love
nothing would ever be simple
everything would be complex
like chemistry
like cooking
like crafting
where life would be nothing but
holding each other
talking to one another
laughing.
alas this could only be a dream

because human would
never be satisfied
wit jus one
they will always get tired or bored
easily.
it breaks my heart to hear someone
tell another someone that
the reason they are parting because
its getting boring
that is probably the lamest reason ever.
but also not a wrong reason.

never truly loving

they hug
they embrace
they kiss
they laugh
i'm in your arms
u hold me close
we kiss
my knees go weak..
in a blink of an eye
everything disappears
you are gone
back to where u were from
leaving me here alone
